How do I apply for an absentee ballot for the Primary Election? 

Absentee Ballot Application (pdf.) Please return the original signed application to your county.  Addresses are attached.

Note:  For the Primary Election you must declare a party unless you are voting only for School Board or Public Questions.

PRIMARY ELECTION DAYTuesday, May 4, 2010

Polls are open 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., prevailing local time.

Monday, October 4, 2010 First day that a voter may vote an absentee general election ballot before an absentee voter board in the office of the circuit court clerk.

VOTER REGISTRATION ENDS:  DEADLINE, at county voter registration office’s close of business for a voter to register or to transfer registration in the county voter registration office

GENERAL ELECTION DAY:  Tuesday, November 2, 2010

If you are interested in being a poll worker on Election Day, contact the county office of your party or circuit court clerk. Poll workers are compensated for their time, varying by county. 16/17 year olds may also be eligible, contact your county for more information.
